Monday Dish: Ginisang Patola (Sponge gourd)

Monday is making up day for sleep with Geoff. He makes up on his sleep every Monday because he does get a lot of it during weekend. Since Gab have no classes during weekend and Papa Rey is around during Sundays, Geoff gets too tired during the weekend due to too much playing and sleeping enough. Therefore, it’s sleep day Monday for him. Like today, he slept from 8am to 11am straight. 

I get to cook for lunch early because the kid’s asleep and I get to clean the house as well. So, what cookin’ for today, none other than Ginisang Patola or Sponge Gourd in English.  What we do not know about this simple dish is that it has a lot of good health benefits, such as:
